MPHS SUBMITS RM 32,805.00 ENDOWMENT FUND BENEFITS TO SK SUNGAI CHOH AND SCHOOLS - SCHOOLS IN HULU SELANGOR DISTRICT
Live broadcast of Sembang Sahur with TV3 was held at the National School Sg. Choh, Rawang on 29 and 30 March 2023. The involvement of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council in the program is to introduce and convey the benefits of the MPHS Endowment Fund to the local community live through the talk show.
The contribution made by the MPHS Endowment Fund is to finance PIBG fees for families of less able students. The goal of establishing this fund is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). MPHS focuses on 3 components in the SDGs, namely SDG 1: No poverty, SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 4: Quality Education.
A total of RM 3,500.00 PIBG fees have been donated to SK PIBG. Mr. Choh on the program which was delivered by Tuan Mohd Hasry bin Nor Mohd, MPHS President to Mr. Mohd Hafiz bin Maarof, YDP PIBG SK.Sg. Choh.
In total, 18 schools involving 1,236 students around Hulu Selangor who will receive the benefit of PIBG fee funding amounting to RM 32,805.00 which are made up of various races, religions and made up of various schools.
Also present YBhg. Prof. Associate Dato' Dr. Mohd Farid Ravi Abdullah, Rector, Selangor Islamic University College (KUIS) is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the MPHS Endowment, SK Sungai Choh Headmaster Mrs. Rosmahwati Safwan, Mr. Muhammad Syafiq Zazali Area Council Member Sg. Choh, Member of the Council and Director of the MPHS Department.
This fund receives funds through contributions from MPHS customers (taxpayers), members of the public, companies & corporate bodies, MPHS employee salary deductions and MPHS itself. Members of the public who wish to contribute to this fund can be channeled to the Endowment Fund account: 111000937057 (People's Bank).
