HULU SELANGOR MUNICIPAL COUNCIL WORKING VISIT TO SEPANG MUNICIPAL COUNCIL AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT, MINISTRY OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT DEVELOPMENT (JKT, KPKT) FOR SHARING OSC WORKING PROCEDURES AND IMPLEMENTATION OF OSC 3.0 PLUS ONLINE SYSTEM.

The purpose of this visit is to learn and share knowledge related to work procedures and processes to improve the speed and efficiency of Local Authorities, especially as a benchmark so that the service delivery system of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (OSC MPHS) can be improved. A total of 16 participants consisting of MPHS OSC Division and MPHS Internal Technical Agency (ATD) participated in the visit session.
The delegation started the working visit session to the Sepang Municipal Council first. The welcome speech was delivered by Puan Aziaton binti Shuib, OSC Unit Director of Sepang Municipal Council. While the counter speech was delivered by Encik Mohd Razaini bin Ishak, Head of the MPHS OSC Division.
The knowledge sharing briefing was also delivered by Puan Aziaton binti Shuib, Director of the Sepang Municipal Council's OSC Unit and was supported by officers from the Sepang Municipal Council's OSC Unit. The aspects discussed with the MPHS delegation are to coordinate and facilitate the approval process of the development proposal at the Process 2 stage for related applications; further detailed regarding the implementation of Process 3 (Notification of Start of Work) up to Process 6 (CCC Deposit) through the OSC 3.0 Plus Online System.
The working visit continued to the Local Government Department, Ministry of Local Government Development (JKT, KPKT). The MPHS delegation was welcomed by Tuan Ar. Mohamad Nazli bin Ramli, Director of Development Control Consulting Division. A briefing and training session regarding the implementation of OSC 3.0 Plus Online was delivered by Mr. Mohamed Firdaus b. Othman, Senior Assistant Director on the first day, while Encik Mior Shahrizan bin Sha@Mior Sha, Chief Assistant Director on the second day. The question and answer session became the main focus of the delegation to improve understanding and unravel some implementation issues of the OSC 3.0 Plus Manual and the OSC 3.0 Plus Online System. Interestingly, the training provided has revealed the latest improvement elements on the OSC 3.0 Plus Online System which is always implemented by JKT, KPKT.
In addition, this work visit to Cyberjaya and Putrajaya became a two-pronged program where it could strengthen the relationship between departments and was inserted with a discussion for the construction process of the MPHS new building by the MPHS Building Department and the MPHS Procurement Division. The tour session with a packed program until the evening also took the opportunity to see aspects of development planning in these two townships, especially aspects of the landscape of roadside slopes and lighting programs for the purpose of beautifying visitor attraction areas.
By sharing information between PBT and JKT, KPKT, MPHS is confident that it can help the delivery of efficient, fast and transparent public services in MPHS which will be a catalyst to speed up productivity as well as increase investor confidence to carry out business and development in the Hulu Selangor District next will make a great contribution to the economy and well-being of the people in this district.
